thailand 2018

It’s that time again, when the year rolls around afresh, that one of our long-standing traditions comes to mind: the making of New Year’s Resolutions. What do we want to achieve this new year?

For much of my life, I rejected the notion of resolving to change my life on a specific day, because I had hoped that I was trying to do that throughout the year. But that’s like saying you shouldn’t plan a road trip because when you get in the car, you will be trying to get somewhere the entire time. If that’s the kind of trip you have in mind, it can be fun for a short while, but even an impromptu trip requires some sort of planning, or else you’ll stay right where you are.

Over the last few years, I have been writing down on paper all the things I want to improve as a person, also my goals for each New Year and the dream places I would like to visit.

Since the year 2014 I made my dreams come true, and for the last four years, I have been visiting far away places like Morocco, Abu Dhabi, China, Cambodia, Japan, Bali, and Thailand. But from all these far away places the number one for me for sure is Thailand, which I had the opportunity to explore well for months each time.

Who can resist Thailand with its legions of dazzling golden temples, idyllic beaches and paradise islands, cute Asian Elephants roaming around, curious but friendly monkeys, bustling markets, pulsating cityscapes, rural charm, smiling people and the palate-pleasing cuisine?

Our energy follows our thoughts and our thoughts always start with an intention, and my intention this year is to lead a wonderful intimate (no more than 12) group of souls to the Kingdom of Thailand this coming May 2018.

We will be practicing a bit of Yoga, Meditation, learning about the Asian culture, its people, its palaces, and temples, it’s wildlife and more. It will be a life-changing experience.

See ya.

There are two places in South East Asia that are really a must to travel for me. One is Thailand, and the other is Bali, Indonesia. There are many reasons for this, they are both affordable, clean, safe and incredibly beautiful countries.

On May 20th, 2018, I will be taking a wonderful group of souls to the Kingdom of Thailand.
We will be landing in the Asian hub of Bangkok, and from there explore the country. We will be exploring this amazing city and its Royal palaces, then heading North to the ancient ruins of Ayuthaya, which was the largest trading capital of Asia and even the world between 1400-1700’s, and recently 1991, became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After that, we will fly to the northern city of Chiang Mai, which is found on a higher elevation than the capital and is surrounded by mountains and lush countryside. We will use Chiang Mai as a base to visit the hundreds of temples in and around the city, the famous Night Bazaar, the mountains, and of course, a jungle trip to see the Asian Elephant, a smaller species than the African Elephant.

During the second part of the journey, we will be visiting the Krabi Province, which is a popular beach destination at the Andaman Sea in Southern Thailand. but we will not stay where is popular, I will take you to my favorite beach in the world, called Railay. Also known as Rai Leh, is a small peninsula between the city of Krabi and Ao Nang in Thailand. It is accessible only by boat due to high limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access. Here we will relax, stretch and meditate on the beach, rent kayaks if we feel like or take any of the inexpensive tours around Railay.
We will have the possibility to see monkeys really close by, see incredible island views, swim in pristine secluded beaches and more.

During our stay in Thailand, we will make a point to be active, I always lose few pounds there cause there is a lot of walking needed it to explore the many sites, temples, neighborhoods, shopping streets and the beautiful countryside. Besides walking a lot, I will guide you every day in some kind of moving or steady meditation to enrich the soul, energize the body, rejuvenate and simply to raise the vibes of every one. This is not a yoga retreat, neither a meditation retreat nor a wellness one. Is simply a trip, with friends, students, and teachers. We will have fun, we will chat about wellness, we will learn how to travel in that part of Asia. I will show you my secret favorite spots, get Thai massages, take hundreds of pictures, eat all kinds of delicious foods, and get to know each other and get to know this amazing ancient culture in a conscious way.
